Parents and in-laws can be so difficult to shop for – so many of you guys told me on Instagram that they were the hardest people on your list to find gifts for and I totally get it! Which is why I put together a whole gift guide just for parents & in-laws: useful, thoughtful gifts they will love.
Every parent & grandparent loves getting new pictures of their kids & grandkids. So many of our photos are online or on our phones that we sometimes take for granted that our parents & in-laws don’t have the same access to them that we do! One year, I gave my mother-in-law framed wedding photos of all of her kids – she was so touched and still says it is one of the best gifts she’s ever received. I have a few go-to apps for photo books and prints that make great gifts for in-laws.
Chatbooks is a super easy to use app – you can create prints, photo cards, and lots more, but I use it to make inexpensive photo books. Just download the app, select the photos you want to put in your book, and print. You can use code ‘SARAHGROTENHUIS-49AY’ to get your first photo book free up to $10. I create books with photos of our girls throughout the year and gift to grandparents at Christmas for a special gift – it’s always a hit. I also use the Snapfish app, which gives you 100 4×6 prints each month. You can frame your favorite and give the other ones to bring to the office or frame themselves.
