I imagine gifting for teen boys is just like gifting for men: husbands, dads, in-laws, just less boring stuff (sweaters & golf clubs) and more kitsch (portable tabletop ping pong). Today, I’ve put together a gift guide for the not-quite-paying-taxes guy in your life: Taco Bell not included.
I’m kind of obsessed with this lighthearted scratch off poster. Choose which fits him best: 100 Books to Read, 100 Movies to Watch, or 100 Things To Do Before You Die. Another just-for-fun gift for him: this tabletop ping pong game can be set up on any table or desk.
This Scandinavian designed backpack will last them forever and comes in dozens of colors. I love it for it’s simplicity & sturdy nylon shell. Another great piece of gear is a handy dopp kit to store toiletries for home or travel. Brett has this Herschel dopp kit. It’s the perfect size for a trip or to store in a gym bag with all his everyday necessities. If he’s always using his tech, gift him an extra-long charging cord (so great as a stocking stuffer) or this battery pack that will charge his phone three times over before needing to be plugged in again.
Cold weather gear can be pricey, but this puffer vest is an almost identical dupe for more expensive brands, but costs under $30. Another favorite, this Patagonia beanie is great for street wear or skiing.
