You guys, when I posted about which people on your list totally stumped you, nearly every person said ‘My dad! My father-in-law! My husband! My brother!’ It seems like everyone finds them hard to shop for: some are picky. Some already have it all. Some say they don’t want anything. Some have hobbies you know nothing about (I feel you).
I have men like this in my own life and I’ve rounded up some gifts that will be sure to impress. So to kick off this year’s 12 Days of Christmas Gifting, I’m sharing the best gifts for all the men on your list!
Retro Beanie – Custom Trail Map – Cotton Cashmere Quarter Zip Sweater – Powder Book – Pressure Putter Golf Trainer – Patagonia Puffer Jacket – Rocketbook Notebook – Wicked Good Moccasin Slippers – Super Absorbent Towel – Chukka Boots – Cologne Sampler
This Patagonia puffer jacket was a favorite gift I gave Brett a few years ago and is incredible quality. If you love the look but aren’t sure about the splurge, try this Amazon dupe for under $50 and has tons of great reviews. Another-kind-of-fancy-but-not-fancy-priced-item: this cotton cashmere sweater from Banana Republic. I love the luxe fabric and classic cut – you really can’t go wrong. Pair it with this retro-look beanie and he’s set for the season.
All the men in my life love the mountains (much to my chagrin) and this custom ski trail map is so dang cool, I’m almost willing to don skis and ride with them. How awesome would it look in his office? I’m also eyeballing this Powder coffee table book: an eye-catching collection of the world’s most incredible ski runs. Any powder geek will be instantly obsessed.
These Chukkas are such a must-have: nice enough to wear out to dinner, but still rugged. It’s a great shoe to have during the winter months and Brett’s most-worn pair. A nice pair of slippers is another great gift: he may not have a pair already, but it’s a little luxury he may not think to buy for himself.
If he’s more into golf than winter sports, consider a gadget to help him improve his game in the winter months like this pressure putt trainer (I didn’t name it, okay?) Brett’s also lobbying for these insanely absorbent & quick drying towels. Perfect for cycling, golfing, or to throw in a gym bag.
This year I’m getting a Rocketbook Notebook for Brett. This notebook has 42 reusable pages in different formats: calendar, daily tasks, lined pages, you name it. Using any Pilot FriXion pen, marker or highlighter (and it comes with one already), he can endlessly doodle, plan, and write, than use his phone to upload notes to popular cloud services like Slack, Email, Google Doc, iCloud, Evernote and more. When he’s ready to reuse the page, just wipe with a damp cloth. So genius and a fun extra for your guy to have.
One of my favorite gifts for any guy: this cologne sampler from Sephora. It’s sample-sized sprays of their best-selling scents packaged up in a handy little dopp kit, but here’s the kicker, it comes with a full-size fragrance gift certificate. He can try all of the scents and decide which he likes best, then exchange the certificate for a full-size cologne. When you consider that a full-size cologne can cost about $75, and this kit is just $65, it’s kind of a mega deal. Best for the cologne-obsessed or the completely indecisive man in your life.
