Easy 4-Ingredient Artisan Bread & Parmesan Dipping Oil

This artisan bread is golden and crisp on the outside but chewy and bubbly inside. Pair it with parmesan red pepper dipping oil or use it as the base for an amazing sandwich. Perfect for the beginning baker, this recipe requires no kneading and only calls for four ingredients.

Yields1 Serving
Cook Time45 mins

 3 cups all purpose flour
 1 tsp salt
 ½ tsp yeast
 1.50 cups warm water

In a large bowl, combine water, yeast, salt and flour until a sticky dough forms. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise at room temperature 8-24 hours (yes, really).

Turn dough out unto a well floured surface and form into a ball. Rest for 30 minutes - while resting, preheat oven to 450 degrees and put a baking dish with high sides into oven.

After dough has rested for 30 minutes, slice an 'X' in the dough and plop into the baking dish and cover with aluminum foil. Return to the oven.

Bake for 30 minutes, covered. Uncover and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until golden brown and crisp.

Let cool at least 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with softened butter, dipping oil, or as a base for a sandwich. Enjoy!

Combine crumbled parmesan, red pepper flakes, and high quality olive oil in a shallow dish. Dip & enjoy.
